 .....Customized Ceremony....

Designed to Honor Your Special Day

Your wedding consultation will follow a planning and preparation process similar to the one below, which can be adapted to meet your needs.....

Initial Contact....
We will briefly discuss your ceremony requirements ( date, location, type of and ceremony).  If you wish to hire me as your officiant, we will make arrangements to meet. A $50 deposit is due to secure your date and time.  Checks should be made
payable to Rev. Susan Anderson.

First Meeting.....
We will spend some time so I can get to know you as a couple. We will  discuss what you wish for your ceremony. Your ceremony can be traditional, contemporary or a combination of both. A more contemporary service could include further participation of the wedding party, family and/or friends.

I will ask questions and offer suggestions. You will be provided with a selection of readings/ vows for you to consider, or you may have something of your own in mind you would like to include.

I will also discuss with you a variety of special ceremonial rituals for your consideration, such as the Unity Candle, the Rose
Ceremony, the Sand Ceremony, the Stone Ceremony. You may want to include one or two of these touches into your
wedding or we can design something unique to you as a couple.

Thinking and Reflection....
You will take time to consider possibilities, readings, music, symbols, etc. After getting your feedback, I will create a draft of your ceremony. We will discuss what I have prepared through email or phone consultation. Any further ideas you wish to incorporate will be added at this stage.

Final Preparations....
I complete the planning of the ceremony and we confirm the final plans. You need to mail your marriage license and the final balance due for the ceremony, 1 week prior to your wedding date.

Ceremony....
The big day finally arrives. I arrive about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to make sure everything it set and as it should be for the ceremony to begin.....Then, all that is left to do is ...Enjoy Your Day....

Feedback...
You will be given a packet which contains your marriage license, a printed copy of your ceremony, and a decorative Marriage Certificate. A few weeks after your wedding, I will email a feedback form and welcome any comments you will provide regarding your experience.
